The home reinterprets the traditional Texas family compound through a contemporary architectural lens, creating a place where work, family life, and gathering exist in close relationship. Shared spaces bring together the intimacy of family life and the energy of larger gatherings with colleagues. The primary and secondary suites frame a generous courtyard, while the central living spaces and three-level tower define its far edge, creating a sense of enclosure within the expansive setting.

At the heart of the home, the great room opens onto the garden, extending daily life outdoors through a covered porch that provides shelter and shade throughout the day. Beyond it, a screened room projects into the landscape, offering an immersive experience of the outdoors while remaining protected from the elements.
