A well-designed home should be a pleasure for all five senses. In addition to its visual beauty, it offers the restorative power of soft surfaces, peaceful quiet, and flavorful meals. But let?s not forget the sense of smell. The elegant home items listed below are a pleasure for the nose.
Waxing poetic
The glow of candlelight can add a sense of occasion to a normal evening at home, but too many scented candles give off a cloying or synthetic aroma. We prefer brands like (Malin+Goetz), whose wax candles rely on natural ingredients to convey scents from tomato to leather to dark rum. We?re fans of the earthy but not overpowering tobacco.
